The series -- entitled "Iconoclasts" -- will air weekly on the Sundance Channel beginning in November 2005. Sundance Channel founder -- actor-director Robert Redford -- will serve as executive producer.

Each episode will feature two leading innovators from fields such as film and television, architecture and design, fashion, food, music and sports. One will serve as a guide for viewers into the creative process of the other.

The announcement said "Iconoclasts" would not be an interview or biography show, but would present "portraits of today's provocative creative leaders."
