NEW YORK, April 9 (UPI) -- Rapper Snoop Dogg is set to kick off his 30-city U.S. and Canadian tour Friday in support of his platinum "The Masterpiece."
The How The West Was One Tour begins in Salt Lake City and ends in Vancouver, British Columbia, May 29.

In addition to hip-hop, Snoop has performed as an actor, MTV show host and sneaker designer.
Joining Snoop is Compton, Calif., rapper The Game. The Game released his first album, "The Documentary," in early 2005, which has hit singles "How We Do" and "Hate It or Love It."
