LOS ANGELES, Feb. 2 (UPI) -- Producer and rapper Master P and his brother were arrested on weapons charges after University of California police stopped them on the Los Angeles campus.
Master P, whose real name is Vyshonn Miller, was arrested after UCLA police stopped the Chrysler 300M he was driving last Thursday because of a missing license plate, E! Online reported.
Police said they found two loaded guns inside the vehicle. Miller and his brother, Percy, who's better known to rap fans as Silkk the Shocker, were charged with felony possession of weapons. Two other people in the car were not charged.
Master P, who pleaded guilty a year ago to tax evasion, and Silkk have dropped from the upper realms of the music charts in recent times, E! Online reported.
