Snoop Dogg reigns Billboard singles chart

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 16 (UPI) -- Snoop Dogg's "Drop It Like It's Hot" featuring Pharrell held on for a third week atop BillBoard's Hot 100 singles chart Thursday.

Mario's "Let Me Love You" advanced a notch to No. 2 -- a career-high mark for the artist, Billboard said. The cut is also nipping Snoop's heels at No. 2 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart for a second week.

Ciara's "1, 2 Step" featuring Missy Elliott clocked in at No. 3 on the Hot 100 while the No. 4 spot was held by "My Boo," the duet by Usher and Alicia Keys.

Nelly's "Over and Over" with Tim McGraw fell to No. 5, but remained No. 1 for the eighth week on Billboard's Mainstream Top 40 chart.

The Top 10 was rounded out by Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz' "Lovers and Friends" featuring Usher and Ludacris at No. 6, Destiny's Child's "Soldier" at No. 7, Ja Rule's "Wonderful" featuring R. Kelly and Ashanti at No. 8, Destiny Child's "Lose My Breath" at No. 9 and Kelly Clarkson's "Breakaway" rounding out the list.
