Clay Aiken to release book and holiday CD

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 16 (UPI) -- In mid-November, singer Clay Aiken is set to debut his first book, a Christmas CD and begin his third U.S. tour in 2004.

The spiky-haired singer has written a book, "Learning to Sing: Hearing the Music in Your Life," described by Billboard as an inspirational memoir, reported Philadelphia Inquirer. The book chronicles Aiken's life from his days as a special-education teacher in North Carolina working with autistic children to his rise to fame as the runner up on Fox's second season of "American Idol."
