Michael Jackson wants Eminem video pulled

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 12 (UPI) -- A U.S. network, at Michael Jackson's request, reportedly is set to pull an Eminem video in which the rap star mocks the pop singer's child molestation charges.

Black Entertainment Network agreed to take the controversial video for Eminem's "Just Lose It" off its play list Tuesday after Jackson publicly protested the video's message, the New York Daily News said.

"Bob Johnson (BET's founder and chairman) has agreed to pull it. And that's an important audience for (Eminem's) material," said Ramone Bain, Jackson's spokesman.

In the video, Eminem, dressed like Jackson with young boys jumping on a bed behind him, sings "Come here little kiddie, on my lap. Guess who's back with a brand new rap? And I don't mean rap, as in a case of child molestation."

Jackson reportedly is furious.

"Michael feels the video is disrespectful and offensive. It's one thing to spoof someone, it's another to be completely insensitive and disrespectful," Bain said.
