LONDON, Sept. 30 (UPI) -- "Pirates of the Caribbean" star Keira Knightley has been tapped the sexiest film star of all time, beating out the likes of Marilyn Monroe and Halle Berry.
The Empire magazine survey ranked the 19-year-old British actress ahead of Angelina Jolie, who came in second, and Berry, in fourth place, Britain's Sun reported Thursday.
"Pirates" co-stars Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp came in third and fifth in the poll, respectively.
Monroe placed sixth, Jennifer Connelly ranked seventh, Hugh Jackson was voted eighth, Scarlett Johansson was ninth and Uma Thurman was voted the 10th sexiest film star.
Empire last conducted the poll six years ago when "Titanic" star Kate Winslet topped the list. Winslet was No. 35 in this year's survey.
