'Shall We Dance' stars reflect on romance

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 23 (UPI) -- Jennifer Lopez, Susan Sarandon and Richard Gere, stars of "Shall We Dance" shared their views on love and passion with Diane Sawyer on ABC's "Primetime."

The three Hollywood stars, on Thursday's show to promote the new film about the extent to which people will go to keep relationships passionate, discussed what they had learned about romance, ABC said.

"It's how you treat each other when you're hurt. I think that's the most important thing," said Lopez, who last June married her third husband, singer Marc Anthony.

Gere, who married actress Carey Lowell after divorcing supermodel Cindy Crawford, said "The idea that you're completing someone else in a marriage to me is death. That to me is a false start."

Sarandon, who has been with actor Tim Robbins since the two met in 1988, defined "sexy."

"What makes a person sexy at any age is that they seem like they're saying yes to life, however that manifests itself," she said.
