Tim McGraw stays atop the Billboard 200

NEW YORK, Sept. 8 (UPI) -- Tim McGraw stayed atop the Billboard 200 U.S. music chart with "Live Like You Were Dying," selling 227,000 copies to make it No. 1 for a second week.

McGraw's album, which debuted last week with 766,000 copies, had a 70 percent sales drop during its second week, but kept its hold on the top chart spot, Billboard reported Wednesday.

Three months after Ray Charles' death, the legendary entertainer's final studio set, "Genius Loves Company," debuted at No. 2, selling 202,000 copies.

Jill Scott's "Beautifully Human: Words and Sounds, Vol. 2" ranked No. 3, and LL Cool J was No. 4 with "The DEFinition."

The 16th installment of the "NOW That's What I Call Music" held at No. 5 with R. Kelly's "Happy People/U Saved Me" falling from No. 2 to No. 6.

Young Buck's "Straight Outta Ca$hville" ranked No. 7 and Ashlee Simpson's "Autobiography" ranked No. 8.

Prince's "Musicology" is No. 9 and Mase's "Welcome Back" capped off the Top 10 at No. 10.
