HOLLYWOOD, Aug. 18 (UPI) -- Oscar winner Patty Duke now has a Star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood, awarded by the Hollywood Chamber Of Commerce.
Patty Duke's family, actors Sean and MacKenzie Astin, joined her at the unveiling ceremony Tuesday, Los Angeles' KABC-TV reported.
Duke won an Oscar for best supporting actress when she was 16 for her performance in "The Miracle Worker."
Duke also had one of TV's top sitcoms, "The Patty Duke Show," with one of the catchiest theme songs of the '60s.
Duke's star is on the sidewalk in front of the Hollywood Roosevelt hotel.
