Probation hearing set for Tom Sizemore

LOS ANGELES, July 28 (UPI) -- A Los Angeles judge has set an Aug. 5 hearing on whether actor Tom Sizemore violated probation after he was convicted of abusing Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss.

Sizemore -- who starred in "Black Hawk Down" and "Saving Private Ryan" -- was found guilty in August 2003 of domestic violence, criminal threats, vandalism and several counts of making obscene and harassing phone calls to Fleiss, his ex-girlfriend. He was sentenced last October to a six-month jail term and three years' probation.

The Hollywood Reporter says Los Angeles prosecutors now accuse Sizemore of violating probation by making contact with Fleiss and testing positive for drugs.

Sizemore's attorney, Michael Rovell, said the actor is doing well and did not violate his probation.
