More courtroom antics for Courtney Love

NEW YORK, June 29 (UPI) -- Rocker Courtney Love irritated a New York judge by showing up for her court date more than five hours late, then engaging in a series of courtroom antics.

Love was set to appear in Manhattan Criminal Court Monday morning on charges she threw a mic stand at a fan but waltzed in at 3 p.m., the New York Post reported Tuesday.

"I had already issued an arrest warrant," Judge Melissa Jackson said. "The rules apply to you as well as everybody else."

While her lawyers spoke to the judge, Love, outfitted in a revealing pink dress and stilettos, retrieved a cigarette from her purse and asked a court officer if she could smoke inside.

Kurt Cobain's widow also ordered the court's sketch artist to "get the nose right."

On her way out, the 39-year-old singer hinted she might be pregnant.

"Do I have a glow on my face?" she said. "Put it this way, I've got to quit smoking."

Love, who later denied the alleged pregnancy, is due back in court Sept. 7.
