SAG questions official on Netflix

LOS ANGELES, June 15 (UPI) -- Screen Actors Guild officials are urging a SAG official to resolve an alleged conflict of interest over his membership on Netflix's board of directors.

Daily Variety reported Tuesday the SAG Hollywood board voted in executive session for a resolution calling on Chief Executive Officer Bob Pisano to, at minimum, recuse himself as chief negotiator for the union in contract talks with producers this fall.

The paper said the Hollywood board will call for the resolution to be brought before SAG's national board for a vote. SAG did not immediately return a telephone call seeking comment on the report.
