NEW YORK, Feb. 13 (UPI) -- "Shakira Live & Off the Record," a DVD/CD documenting the Colombian singer's 2002 tour and behind-the-scene footage, is set for U.S. release on March 30.
The Epic Records one-hour DVD and a 90-minute CD was recorded during Shakira's "Tour of the Mongoose," which took the performer to Paris, London, Madrid, Rome, New York, Los Angeles, Buenos Aires and Mexico City, Billboard reported Friday.
The DVD captures the artist writing a song with her band, praying with her family and spending time with her fiance. The artist also talks about being a socially responsible celebrity and her efforts to help the children of Colombia.
The companion CD includes 10 songs such as the hit "Whenever, Wherever" and a cover of AC/DC's "Back in Black."
Shakira is recording the follow-up to "Laundry Service," her English-language debut that peaked at No. 3 on The Billboard 200 and has sold 3.3 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
