LOS ANGELES, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- Catherine Zeta-Jones has switched Hollywood agents amid rumors the Welsh actress is jealous Nicole Kidman gets a first look at prime scripts.
Zeta-Jones has fired longtime agent George Freeman, replacing him with Bryan Lourd at the Creative Artists Agency, Britain's Sun reported Tuesday.
The 34-year-old actress won an Oscar for "Chicago," although sources said she was furious that Nicole Kidman, 36, saw the script first.
Actor Michael Douglas, 59, Zeta-Jones' husband, is said to have pushed the agent switch.
"This was Michael's doing," a source said. "He pecked away at Catherine, saying, 'Why didn't you get this part? Why didn't you get that part?' Nicole gets first look at every script."
A spokesperson for Douglas responded by saying, "All husbands and wives discuss things, but Catherine makes her own decisions."
