Rowdy celebs told to mind language for TV

LONDON, Jan. 21 (UPI) -- The rowdy British celebrities headed to Australia for the next season of "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here" have been told to cut out all foul language.

Former Sex Pistols punk rocker John Lydon (aka Johnny Rotten), model Jordan, and insurance scammer Lord Brockett are among the colorful characters to be featured on the popular ITV show, taping this season in Queensland, London's Sun reported Wednesday.

"Everyone knows what Jordan's like when she has a drink. She's very funny, but admits herself she's no angel. John Lydon's reputation speaks for itself," said a show insider. "It is a prime time family show, so all swearing will be cut out or bleeped.

"It's part of the fun that our celebs are such sparky characters, but we have warned them about swearing, although how far they keep to the rules is anybody's guess," he said.

The reality show will have a 15-minute live-to-tape delay, so any inappropriate language can be cut.
