Stars line up to go 'Six Feet Under'

NEW YORK, Jan. 18 (UPI) -- Some of Hollywood's best and brightest are lining up to guest star on HBO's hit funeral-home drama "Six Feet Under."

According to USA Today, "American Beauty" starlet Mena Suvari will play a friend of Claire (Lauren Ambrose,) while Ben Foster will return as her bisexual boyfriend, Russell. Claire's ex-boyfriend Gabriel (Eric Balfour) also may be back -- even though viewers were led to believe he was dead.

"Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" villain Justin Theroux will return as musician Joe, a love interest for Brenda (Rachel Griffiths,) Nate's (Peter Krause's) former flame.

The newspaper also revealed Keith (Mathew St. Patrick) will work as a bodyguard for a pop star played by "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" player Michelle Trachtenberg, who will appear on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." The new queen of daytime TV will play herself in that episode.

Also returning this season will be Kathy Bates, Patricia Clarkson and James Cromwell.
