Posh Spice producer accused of rape

LONDON, Jan. 15 (UPI) -- Rap producer Damon Dash, who works with ex-Spice Girl Posh, Victoria Beckham, has been accused of rape by a former model, London's Mirror reported Thursday.

Kirstie Thompson, 32, said that Dash, who also owns the fashion label Roc-A-Wear, attacked her on New Year's Day in 2003. She has filed a $15.6 million lawsuit in a New York City court seeking compensation for mental damages, pain and suffering.

Thompson alleges that Dash asked her for sex three times, saying "everyone has sex with me" but she refused. She claims he later attacked her in her hotel room on an island off of Brazil.

The ex-model said she reported the alleged attack to authorities at the time and was examined at a local hospital.

Dash's spokeswoman Amanda Silverman dismissed the claims as "baseless and untrue."

"These are ludicrous allegations," Silverman said. "Damon hasn't been charged with anything."

Beckham, 29, had a No. 3 hit with the "This Groove," a single produced by Dash, and she also has modeled for his clothing line.
