Hurley: no plans to marry Arun Naya

LONDON, Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Elizabeth Hurley called a report her marriage to businessman Arun Naya being called off "funny" because she said she never had plans to marry him.

"It was an invention of the press that Liz and Arun were getting married and they are highly amused to be told the wedding is now off," Hurley's spokesman said.

"They are eagerly awaiting the next fictionalized installment of their riveting matrimonial plans."

It had been reported that Nayar canceled the wedding because of disagreements over Hurley's extravagant lifestyle and that he disliked being a "kept man," the London Mirror reported.

It has been reported that Nayar had to depend on Hurley's money after he had to pay his Italian ex-wife Valentina Pedroni more than a $1 million in a divorce settlement.

The divorce will be finalized in the new year, the Mirror said
