Simon and Garfunkel reuinion tour?

NEW YORK, June 18 (UPI) -- Simon and Garfunkel reportedly are eying a reunion tour for the fall but neither Paul Simon nor Art Garfunkel would confirm the report.

Billboard.com said the proposed tour received a boost from the pair's rendition of "The Sounds of Silence" during the Grammys earlier this year. Garfunkel, however, already is committed to solo dates through November while Simon is working on a studio album for Warner Bros.

The classic Simon and Garfunkel track, "Bridge Over Troubled Water," is about to take on new life, Billboard reported. It's due to be the B-side of "American Idol" runner-up Clay Aiken's coming single, "This is the Night."
