Simon Wakefield (born April 14, 1974) is an English professional golfer who currently plays on the European Tour.
Wakefield was born in Newcastle-under-Lyme, England. He turned professional in 1997.
Wakefield has amassed over €2.1 million over his career. He has no European Tour wins, however he has five top-fives, including two runner-up finishes, one being the 2007 Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles where he lost in a playoff to Marc Warren, and the 2008 Bank Austria GolfOpen. He has one win on the Challenge Tour and one on the Sunshine Tour.
