Thomas Scott "Flip" Phillips (born February 22, 1973, in Valdosta, Georgia) is the drummer for Alter Bridge, and is the current drummer for Creed, who has recently reformed and is in the process of hammering out details for a summer reunion tour and a new album titled Full Circle.
Phillips joined Alter Bridge with fellow former Creed members Brian Marshall and lead guitarist Mark Tremonti in 2004. He is a self-taught drummer, starting at age 18, and has also played piano and keyboards as well as the saxophone. On Creed's 2001 album Weathered, Phillips is credited with playing drums and keyboards.
He now lives in Central Florida with his wife April, and their daughter, Cadence.
