Richard Roby (Born September 28, 1985 in San Bernardino, California) is an American professional basketball player. He attended high school at Lawrence Academy at Groton, Massachusetts. Roby, a six foot six inch shooting guard, attended the University of Colorado at Boulder and played for the Buffaloes from 2004-08. He averaged 17 points and 5.5 rebounds during his career for the Buffaloes. He planned to enroll in the 2006 NBA Draft without an agent. However, he did not think he would draft high enough, so he decided return to school for another year. He finished his career at Colorado as the schools leading scorer, doing so in his final collegiate game. Roby is the half-brother to current NBA power forward Kenyon Martin.
In the summer of 2008, Roby signed a contract through the year 2009 with Bnei Hasharon in Israel.
