Richard Moore (born 1934) is an English actor known for playing Jarvis Skelton on ITV's Emmerdale from 2002-2005.
Moore was born and lived in Burnley, Lancashire during his early life. He initially worked as a photographer for the Burnley Express, while being involved with a amateur dramatics group which also included Malcolm Hebden, called The Highcliffe Players. He went on to train at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Moore is a keen Burnley F.C. supporter, even sneeking club paraphernalia onto the Emmerdale set.
After Drama School, Moore spent more than 10 years with The Royal Shakespeare Company.
