Park, Young-Seok (Korean: 박영석, Hanja: 朴英碩, born November 2, 1963) is the first person in the world to complete a true Adventure Grand Slam. That is to say, he has climbed the world's 14 Eight-thousanders, the Seven Summits, and visited both poles.
On 29 December 2008, Nepal Korea Cooperation Council honoured Park for his gallantry amidst a felicitation programme in Kathmandu, Nepal. He was presented a letter of appreciation by Nepali Congress leader and CA member Dhyan Gobinda Ranjit.
