Mohammed Hamid (born 1957 in Tanzania to an Indian family) is a British national convicted of training terrorists for the unsuccessful 21 July 2005 London bombings. He is a former crack cocaine addict who found religion in the 1990s after a life of crime.
He has been nicknamed "Osama bin London".
Before the bombing, Hamid was paid by BBC Two to appear in a program about Muslims paintballing that aired on June 12, 2005. He contacted the BBC after the bombing but they did not turn him in to the police.
