Milan Jurčina (Slovak pronunciation: ) (born June 7, 1983 in Liptovský Mikuláš, Czechoslovakia, now in Slovakia) is a Slovak ice hockey defenceman currently with the New York Islanders of the NHL.
The 6-foot-4 Slovak was drafted by the Boston Bruins 241st overall in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. After spending 3 seasons with the Halifax Mooseheads of the QMJHL, Jurčina began his AHL career with the Providence Bruins in the 2003–04 season and was brought into the main Boston Bruins roster during the 2005–06 NHL season.
On February 1, 2007, he was traded to the Washington Capitals for a conditional fourth-round draft pick in 2008. Jurčina was re-signed to a two year deal by the Washington Capitals on July 27, 2007.
