Mark Rosenker is the eleventh chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board. Having acted as acting chair starting in March 2005, he was sworn in on August 11, 2006. His current second term expires on December 31, 2010.
Rosenker has been a member of the NTSB since March 2003 and was designated Vice Chairman the following month. He began his second term as a member in January 2006. That term expires December 31, 2010.
From January 20, 2001 to March 2003 Rosenker served as Deputy Assistant to the President of the United States and Director of the White House Military Office.
