John Goodman told UPI he thinks his classic blue-collar comedy, "Roseanne," and its sequel, "The Conners," will be remembered for the love and laughter they offered during difficult circumstances that viewers recognized.

"The Conners," a sequel to the classic sitcom "Roseanne," has been renewed for a seventh and final season.

ABC announced Wednesday that "The Conners" will move to a new timeslot beginning May 1.
