John Wesley Van Benschoten (born April 14, 1980 in San Diego, California) is a Major League Baseball pitcher with the Chicago White Sox organization.
He grew up in Milford, Ohio, a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio, where he was a two-sport athlete at Milford High School. He has an older sister, Caroline, and a younger sister, Lyndsay.
Van Benschoten has previously played for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
