James Patrick "Jim" Edmonds (born June 27, 1970) is an American Major League Baseball player, currently playing center field for the Cincinnati Reds. He played for the California/Anaheim Angels, the St. Louis Cardinals, the San Diego Padres, the Milwaukee Brewers, and the Chicago Cubs. He was affectionately known by Cardinal fans as "Jimmy Baseball," "Jimmy Ballgame," "Lassie," and "Hollywood."
Edmonds was born on June 27, 1970, in Fullerton, California. He attended Diamond Bar High School in Diamond Bar, in eastern Los Angeles County.
Edmonds is married to Allison Jayne Raski. They were married on July 16, 2008, at the St. Louis County, Missouri Courthouse in Clayton, MO. The couple have a son and a daughter together. Edmonds also has two teenaged daughters from his previous marriage to Lee Ann Horton.
