Jeremy D. Fogel (born 1949) is a United States federal judge.
Born in San Francisco, California, Fogel received a B.A. from Stanford University in 1971 and a J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1974. He was in private practice in San Jose, CA from 1974 to 1978. He was a Lecturer, Human Development, California State University from 1977 to 1978. He was a Law Foundation, Inc., Santa Clara County, CA Bar Association from 1978 to 1981. He was a Directing attorney of Mental Health Advocacy Project from 1978 to 1981. He was an Executive director from 1980 to 1981. He was a judge on the Santa Clara County, CA Municipal Court from 1981 to 1986. He was a judge on the Santa Clara, CA Superior Court from 1986 to 1998.
Fogel is a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. Fogel was nominated by President Bill Clinton on September 8, 1997, to a seat vacated by Robert P. Aguilar. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on March 16, 1998, and received his commission on March 17, 1998.
