Dmitri Vladimirovich Kalinin (Russian: Дмитрий Владимирович Калинин; born July 22, 1980 in Chelyabinsk, Russian SFSR Soviet Union) is a Russian professional ice hockey defenceman currently playing for the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League (NHL).

He was drafted by the Sabres 18th overall in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft. Much of his English skills were taught to him by his former teammate Alexei Zhitnik. He had an injury plagued 2005–06 season, but did not miss a game in the 2006–07 season. He scored the NHL's first goal in the 2006–07 season - at 9:09 of the first period in the season opener at Carolina.

He was the defensive partner of Teppo Numminen but since Teppo's most recent heart surgery, he switched between Nolan Pratt and Nathan Paetsch.
