The second half of "Outlander" Season 7 is set to premiere on Nov. 22, Starz announced on Saturday.

Rory Alexander, Sam Retford, Séamus McLean Ross and Conor MacNeill have joined the Starz series "Outlander: Blood of My Blood."

Charles Vandervaart told UPI that joining "Outlander" in its seventh season was initially a bit overwhelming, but he now feels comfortable playing William Ransom, the adult son of Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan).

"Outlander" Season 7 will be split into two parts, with Part 1 to premiere on Starz in June.

Starz released the "Outlander" Season 7 opening title sequence featuring music by Sinéad O'Connor.

Starz renewed "Outlander" for an eighth and final season and officially greenlit the "Blood of My Blood" prequel series.

Starz shared a teaser and premiere date for "Outlander" Season 7 starring Caitríona Balfe and Sam Heughan.

"Outlander" author Diana Gabaldon says she hasn't been approached to work on the prequel series that Starz announced this week.

"Outlander: Blood of My Blood," an "Outlander" prequel series about Jamie Fraser's parents, is development at Starz.

Izzy Meikle-Small and Joey Phillips will play Rachel and Denzell Hunter on the Starz series "Outlander."
