David Alan Ezra (born 1947) is a United States federal judge.

Ezra was born in Columbus, Ohio. He received a B.B.A. from St. Mary`s University in 1969. He received a J.D. from St. Mary`s University School of Law in 1972 (graduated first in his class). He was in the United States Army Reserve from 1971 to 1977. He was a law clerk, Office of the Corporation Counsel, City and County of Honolulu, Hawaii in 1972. He was in private practice of law in Honolulu, Hawaii from 1972 to 1988. Adjunct professor of law, William S. Richardson School of Law, 1978-present.

Ezra was a federal judge to the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii. Ezra was nominated by President Ronald Reagan on November 18, 1987, to a seat vacated by Samuel P. King. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on May 19, 1988, and received his commission on May 20, 1988. Served as chief judge, 1999-2005. Ezra was the youngest federal judge ever appointed to the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii and the only federal judge from Hawaii to be elected to the Judicial Conference of the United States. Ezra also served as President of the District Judges Association of the Ninth Circuit and served multiple terms on the Ninth Circuit Judicial Council. Ezra also served as Vice President of the Federal Judges Association.
