David Michael "Dave" Rayner (born October 26, 1982 in Rochester, Michigan) is an American football placekicker who is currently playing for the Detroit Lions of the NFL. He was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the sixth round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played college football at Michigan State.

Rayner has also been a member of the Green Bay Packers, Kansas City Chiefs, San Diego Chargers, Miami Dolphins, and Washington Redskins.

Rayner attended Oxford High School where he played as a kicker for the varsity football team. As a four-year starter he broke all but one school punting and placekicking record. He also played as a wide receiver, catching 13 passes for 210 yards and three touchdowns.
