Ayman Abd El Aziz Nour (Arabic: أيمن عبد العزيز نور, IPA: ; born 5 December 1964) is an Egyptian politician, a former member of the Egyptian Parliament and chairman of the El Ghad party.
He was imprisoned in January 2005 by the government of President Hosni Mubarak. Nour was released on health grounds on February 18, 2009. Following the fall of Mubarak in the 2011 Revolution, Nour stated his intention to run for the vacant presidency.
On February 13, 2011, The Jerusalem Post reported that Nour stated that "the Camp David Era was over" and he did not recognize Egypt's Peace Treaty with Israel.
