Anne Milgram has been the Attorney General of New Jersey since June 2007.
Milgram had served as First Assistant Attorney General, the second-highest position in the New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety, having taken office on February 14, 2006. She served as Acting Attorney General in September 2006 while there was a vacancy after the previous Attorney General stepped down from office and before the Governor's nominee was confirmed and sworn into office.
Milgram grew up in East Brunswick Township, New Jersey.
