Police: OWS Protesters dumped human waste

NEW YORK, March 22 (UPI) -- Police in New York released surveillance video that showed Occupy Wall Street protesters dumping human waste at an ATM location and down some stairs.

Police said the surveillance cameras showed that on March 14 several demonstrators dragged containers of human urine and feces to a plaza then dumped the waste down a stairwell, WCBS-TV, New York reported Wednesday.

Later that night, one of the suspects left human waste inside an ATM vestibule.

Authorities arrested Jordan Brocks Amos, 25, of Philadelphia, two days after the incident after a witness provided a license plate number of the van allegedly used to transport the waste, WCBS said.

Police said Amos is the registered owner of the van.

He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon after police recovered a stun gun from inside the vehicle, officials said. Amos also faces charges such as unlawful possession of a noxious matter and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, police said.
