What is RSS?

UPI provides RSS 2.0 feeds for your personal use, subject to your agreement to the UPI RSS Terms of Use. RSS (Real Simple Syndication) is an XML-based format that lets you use news readers to view news feeds from many different sources. UPI RSS feeds contain article headlines, summaries and links to the article on the UPI Web site.

You can use UPI RSS feeds two ways:

  1. By viewing the RSS feeds using a news reader.
  2. By incorporating the RSS feed into your own Web site.
  3. If you would like to incorporate UPI RSS feeds into your Web site, we ask that you fill out a request form.

UPI makes available RSS feeds solely for your personal, non-commercial use and for no other uses whatsoever. Any use of RSS feeds that is for any commercial benefit, including receiving any payment or advertising revenue in connection with any content on the feeds, is expressly prohibited.

If you would like to use the RSS feeds for any commercial purpose, including but not to limited to any license to publish UPI content, please contact UPI at contact UPI.

Your use of any RSS feeds must be in the format in which UPI provides them. You shall not modify, edit, or otherwise change the RSS feeds in any way whatsoever. All content of the RSS feed must link directly to UPI.com. You shall not add intermediate pages, advertisements, or content of any kind between the RSS content and UPI.com.

UPI retains all ownership, intellectual property and other rights in and to the RSS feeds. UPI may alter, modify or discontinue the RSS feeds at any time and for any reason.

UPI provides these RSS Feeds on an as "AS IS" basis and accepts no liability for the content of RSS feeds or for any use you make of the RSS feeds.
