Bank teller laughs at man robbing bank with meat cleaver

SHANGHAI, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- A teller at the China Construction Bank in Shanghai flat-out laughed at a man who attempted to rob the bank with a meat cleaver while talking on his cell phone.

The exchange was caught on video where you see the man approach the teller window, scare off a customer with the meat cleaver, and then answer his cell phone and start chatting away. Right after he starts his poorly timed phone conversation, the video shows the teller turning around and laughing at the inept criminal.

The police apprehended the man at the counter before he could do any damage.
