LOS ANGELES, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- The Fantastic Four reboot has locked up its fantastic four. Fox has tapped Miles Teller, Kate Mara and Jamie Bell to join Michael B. Jordan in the Marvel franchise.
Mara, fresh off another appearance in the buzzy Netflix series House of Cards, has reportedly closed a deal to play Sue Storm, a.k.a., the Invisible Woman, while Bell's deal to play Ben Grimm (The Thing) has yet to be confirmed.
Teller's joining the film as Reid Richards (Mr. Fantastic) will depend on the two sides working out the shooting schedule with his obligations to film Insurgent, the second installment of the Shailene Woodley-led Divergent trilogy.
Jordan is already attached to play Johnny Storm, a.k.a. the Human Torch.
Fantastic Four, which will serve as an introduction to the characters as young men and women, will be directed by Josh Trank (Chronicle).
The property was last in theaters in 2005, with Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans and Michael Chiklis.
