HOUSTON, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- In advance of the approaching NBA trade deadline on Thursday, the rumors about Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo have been coming fast and furious. The latest team rumored to be interested in acquiring the volatile player is the Houston Rockets.

In the past 24 hours, FoxSports.com's Sam Amico and ESPN's Marc Stein have both reported that Celtics general manager and Rockets GM Daryl Morey have been actively involved in discussions regarding Rondo, although the exact terms of any potential deal are unclear.
Sources familiar w/Rockets' thinking say HOU has absolute interest in trading for Rajon Rondo. But that alone doesn't mean we'll see a deal
