LOS ANGELES, Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Normally, when a stylist posts a photo of a client's new cut on Instagram, it's no big deal. But when that stylist's main (mane?) client is Lauren Conrad, we take note.
Kristin Ess, who has been charged with the care and keeping of the reality star's beachy-blonde locks, posted such a picture to her feed over the weekend. The image is of back of the head of a woman who looks suspiciously like Conrad, but it is simply captioned "Bye."
The woman in the photo is holding up her chopped-off ponytail, and it's the same length and color as Conrad's -- or at least used to be.
Still, Conrad hasn't said a word, and Ess later commented "#notlauren #sorryguys" on the image.
Seems like it's much ado about nothing.
