NEW YORK, Feb. 14 (UPI) -- Big Bang Theory actor Jim Parsons is set to make his Saturday Night Live debut in the spring.
The 40-year-old actor will host the late-night live television sketch comedy on March 1 after it returns from its Olympics hiatus. Beck will be joining the actor as the musical guest during the show.

Parsons is best known for playing Dr. Sheldon Cooper on the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory. He has received three Grammys and a Golden Globe award for his performance on the show.
