LOS ANGELES, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- Kristen Stewart has no regrets regarding any of the decisions she's ever made.
While interviewing for the March issue of Marie Claire magazine, the 24-year-old Twilight star opened up about romance, public judgement and mistakes.
In July 2012, the On the Road actress' life took a turn for the crazy when Us Weekly posted a set of photos in which she appeared kissing her married Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders while she was in a relationship with her Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson.
The photos ended up costing Stewart her three-year relationship with the British actor, but for the actress, the situation was just another life lesson.
"I stand by every mistake I've ever made, so judge away," she told the magazine regarding people's idea of her.
Asked about new prospects and whether she has a type, Stewart said she's "much too young" to answer a question like that, and added that falling in love is not something you can define or control.
"You don't know who you will fall in love with. You just don't. You don't control it," she said. "Some people have certain things, like, 'That's what I'm going for,' and I have a subjective version of that. I don't pressure myself … If you fall in love with someone, you want to own them -- but really, why would you want that? You want them to be what you love. I'm much too young to even have an answer for that question."
In the end, Stewart is just happy not knowing what the future holds.
“Dude, I have no idea what I’m doing, and that’s kind of how I love it," she explains. "I had no idea Twilight was going to be huge. Certain movies I’ve done I thought were going to be amazing did nothing. So it’s fun not having so much control. It’s kind of a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants lifestyle -- it’s fun, but it’s scary as f**k. Unless you get that irking fear, it’s not right.”
