SOCHI, Russia, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- British bobsledder Rebekah Wilson almost took a nasty dive, which she luckily avoided.
Early Saturday morning, Wilson encountered an unexpectedly empty elevator shaft. Lucky for the brakewoman and her driver, Paula Walker, Wilson saw the danger in time and avoided disaster.

She isn't the only bobsledder to face such obstacles in Sochi. American bobsledder Johnny Quinn was stuck in a bathroom in Sochi and was forced to take extreme measures.
