Kate Upton gets proposal from Orlando Magic mascot

ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Kate Upton and Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander went public with their relationship at a Super Bowl party last week, but that doesn't mean the Sports Illustrated cover model isn't open to other offers.

The happy couple went to Orlando Magic's game against Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday. When Verlander stepped away from their court-side seats, Stuff the magic dragon popped the question.

He even gave the 21-year-old model some serious bling:
