IRVING, Texas, Feb. 6 (UPI) -- A police officer slammed his car into a woman's vehicle as she was driving 80 mph the wrong way in a last attempt to pull her over.
After receiving numerous calls about a car driving on the wrong side of the road, police attempted several times to try to get Julia Crain Brooks to stop her car. When Brooks, 23, refused and kept driving, a police officer waited until she tried to pass him and slammed his car into hers, sending her into the barrier, forcing her to stop.

Brooks tested with a blood alcohol level of .217, three times the legal limit of .08. Brooks told police she did not stop because she did not want to go back to rehab.
