Bethenny Frankel rents second NYC apartment

NEW YORK, Feb. 6 (UPI) -- Bethenny Frankel has rented a second apartment in New York City in order to spend more time with her daughter and new boyfriend, and away from her ex.

According to Us Weekly the 43-year-old Real Housewife-turned-TV talk show host got the new pad to keep her new financier boyfriend Michael Cerussi from running into her ex, Jason Hoppy, who has remained in the former couple's Tribeca loft since they separated 14 months ago.

Now that Frankel and Cerussi "are exclusive," they need the new space to be able to spend time alone. Additionally, it gives the reality star a chance to spend some time with 3-year-old daughter Bryn, whose custody Frankel shares with Hoppy.

"[Hoppy] has been offered millions to settle, but asked for quadruple," the source said of the couple's divorce.

Frankel filed for divorce in January 2013, prompting her ex to file for primary custody of Bryn.
